Homemade Mexican Guacamole Recipe

A traditional and tasty Mexican dip made with ripe avocados, onion, jalapeo, cilantro, lime juice, and salt.

Ingredients

• 3 ripe avocados, halved and pitted
• 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
• 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
• 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
• 1/2 small red onion, finely diced
• 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely chopped

Time Needed

• Prep Time: 15 minutes
• Total Time: 15 minutes

Instructions

• Mash the avocado flesh with a fork in a medium bowl.
• Stir in the onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, and salt.
• Seasoning should be tasted and adjusted as needed.
• Refrigerate until ready to serve, or cover with plastic wrap directly on the surface of the guacamole.
